Marketing for Good was a unique marketing class that provided me with knowledge of the nonprofit industry and the influence of social marketing today.
The presentations were divided into three parts. The initial part dealt with the establishment of a nonprofit organization and the development of its organizational-level branding. The second part expanded on this and provided more information on the visual identity of the organization and its messaging platform. The third and final part concentrated on the organization’s social marketing strategy, with a particular emphasis on the experiential aspect.
I established ReNutrient with the objective of making chemical-free and safe food reachable to every American. This enterprise provided me with an opportunity to apply my marketing skills from a for-profit angle to a non-profit one. It was quite challenging to shift my perspective within a short span of time, but the experience taught me valuable lessons.
